One of the reasons for Netanyahu's unpopularity at home is his refusal to accept blame for the surprise attack.

Bibi's eloquence often obscures his inaction. His lack of a true vision even as Israel is a recognized military and technological regional power is beyond disappointing. i've been hoping to see Bennett return. Bibi's date code of leadership has long passed. He's more popular in Congress than he is in the Knesset.

Netanyahu seldom misses an opportunity to humiliate an American President. Biden has been a true friend to Israel, but dissing him plays well to the far right and pairs nicely with Bibi's ingrained loathing of Democrats, non-Orthodox American Jews, and democracy in general. Shande, Bibi! The blood of 1200 innocents in Israel on October 7 stains your incompetent hands.
