In dealing with a contradictory ally, David Ben-Gurion offered a creative approach worth noting... Also: a one-minute clip from our Zoom interview with Rabbi David Wolpe.
"But Trump is also the president who in his ongoing quest for regime change represents the greatest threat to U.S. democracy, the rule of law, and moral and ethical standards in the nation’s history. Among those Americans fearful of the current administration’s dramatic grab for power are the majority of the Jewish community"
Trump is a huge threat to democracy because he's cleaning up blatant corruption in government and targeting, censorship, and imprisonment of political opposition by the Democrats. This is so dangerous. We want hundreds of billions of dollars every year to go to unknown recipients to promote woke causes that nobody voted for. That's why we pay taxes. The wonderful Democrats who gave Hamas 2 billion dollars since October 7th, via USAID
, ( https://www.jewishpress.com/news/us-news/2b-sent-by-usaid-to-support-hamas-under-biden/2025/02/27 ), who encourage and fund via their fundraising organizations like Arabella Advisors and others, anti-Semitic protests in the United States, who hamstring Israel in its existential battle for survival, putting sanctions on Israelis while ignoring the massive abuses of Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. The same party that puts Palestinian radicals and Iran operatives in sensitive positions in the State Department, National Security Council, and Pentagon. Yes, Trump is very scary. Think of all the stuff he's done to the Jewish community that's bad like the Abraham Accords and moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, vowing to prosecute US Hamasniks and universities violating the civil rights of Jews, cutting off terrorism funding, making government accountable to the people. This is very scary. It's almost like he thinks he the President of the United States. Where did he get that idea? It's not like he won an election after the Democrats tried to assassinate him or hamstring with bogus legal cases that have all been dropped ( because these were very strong cases to save "our democracy").
Yes, watch out for Trump. He's a threat to democracy ( if you're completely insane).
I’m a caring Jew and your depiction of the “evil” Trump is fully naive.
To gain success in this world, one must establish respect. Trump has established that with strength and unwavering commitment. The only threat to democracy were those deceitful, agenda directed bureaucrats fixated on their superegos and intolerant of contrasting views
That scares the leftists whiners, but woke ideology is rightfully being flushed!

Well said.
It's called being between a rock and a hard place... and that generally leads to Jews getting the shortest end of the stick...
