I wholeheartedly agree. Bibi has been an historic figure and deserves great kudos for dedicating his life to the Jewish people. But it's bad for democracy -- and has been for a long time -- that he has stayed (and kept trying to stay) in power for that long time. I may have many issues with his policies, but I'm not an Israeli and respect the Israeli public's choice of continually putting him in positions of power. But he -- an extremely bright man and one well-read in history -- should know better.
Dear Gary, don’t you think your piece may sound somehow patronising to an Israeli parent who went through four wars with the IDF and sent three kids to fight for the existence of the Jewish State? God bless the Israeli soldiers! God bless Israel and of course God bless America as the leader of the free world. And, God bless Jo Biden, he was a great leader, was and remains a great friend of the Jewish People, and I hope he won’t need anymore his colleagues in the Democratic Party.
